Galton Voysey Number 1 Best Place to Work in Hong Kong According to Prestigious Award
Business Wire China | 25 Jul 2019 5:35pm

HONG KONG--()--Galton Voysey, a leader in direct-to-consumer micro brands, recently took the number one spot at the 2019 Best Companies to Work for® in Hong Kong awards ceremony.

The prestigious award, run by the Great Place to Work® consultancy, celebrates companies that cultivate a culture based on trust, comradery and connection, whilst also championing innovative and unique workplace policies. It is the current golden standard for measuring work culture and is determined via two key assessments – a cultural audit questionnaire and anonymous trust employee survey.

“We hire the best people and give them the capital and autonomy to succeed,” said William Wolfram, Galton Voysey’s Chairman & CEO.

The team attributes Galton Voysey’s core values as being one of the main reasons the five-year-young company was awarded the number one spot. These values are unique to the company and underpin the work they do. One is to encourage employees to ‘Be Vocally Self Critical’ and admit their mistakes to foster greater learning, with a quarterly I Was Mistaken award and a HK$20,000 prize handed out. Galton Voysey employees also strive to ‘Follow Up Every Business Day’ and understand they have ‘The Right and Responsibility to Make Sense of Things’, which builds a greater sense of independence and skill of enquiry.

The Great Place to Work® award marks an important milestone for the burgeoning Hong Kong company as they continue forging a path to combat stale workplace practices through creativity and invention.
