Pteris Global Wins Three Contracts Worth $64.2 million

Pteris Global has announced that it has secured contracts worth an aggregate of approximately $64.2 million from customers in the PRC and USA.

The first contract worth Rmb144.8 million (approximately $31.9 million) involves the design , supply, installation and testing of Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB) and ancillary equipment for the new Terminal 3 at Wuhan Tianhe International Airport in the PRC. The PBB are slated for delivery and installation by 31 October 2016.

The group was also awarded a contract package worth Rmb119.5 million (approximately $26.3 million) for the supply and installation of new PBB for Terminal 2 at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, slated for delivery and installation in June 2016.

Both PBB contracts were awarded under a public tender by the PRC government authorities and are expected to contribute positively to the group’s financial performance for FY16.

The group’s subsidiary in the USA, Pteris Global (USA), was awarded US$4.3 million (approximately $6 million) worth of orders of baggage handling system as part of the revitalization of Terminal 3 of Phoenix Sky Harbour International Airport in Arizona, USA. This contract was awarded as part of a US$17.3 million (approximately $24.0) Letter of Intent signed with the main contractor, Hunt Austin in February 2015. The scope of work under the signed agreement is slated for completion in 2019.
