Bina Puri Bags RM100 Million Island Resort Contract

  • Construction services provider Bina Puri Holdings has bagged a contract worth RM100 million from the Terengganu State Public Work director, to construct an island resort in Kenyir Lake, Terengganu.
  • The contract was awarded to the group’s unit, Bina Puri, to undertake the project to design, build and complete the resort, which is expected to take three years.
  • According to Bina Puri’s executive director Matthew Tee, the firm’s success in securing the project is reflected on the company’s capability as a landmark builder to undertake various types of construction.

Significance: With the latest award, the group has secured RM838 million worth of projects in 2015, and have an increased unbuilt book order of RM2.7 billion. The firm is optimistic that there will be more opportunities to secure further projects by year-end.
