SPH REIT’s 9M15 Earnings Grew 4.6 Percent

SPH REIT’s revenue for 9M15 grew 2.1 percent to $154.3 million, from $151.2 million in 9M14. The growth was driven by good progress in leasing activities while the portfolio average rental reversion was 9.2%.

Property operating expenses was $1.7 million lower, largely due to lower maintenance, utilities and marketing cost partially offset by higher property tax and property management fees.

The trust recorded earnings of $88.8 million, an increase of 4.6 percent from $84.9 million last year, mainly attributable to higher net property income.

Income available for distribution of $105 million 3.5% higher than 9M14, while distribution per unit for the quarter was maintained at $0.0135.
