The Straits Times Index (STI) traded at 3,406.71, up 36.42 points (1.08 percent) from previous close, at mid-day. The market traded on moderate volume of 1104.1 million shares traded with 288 gainers and 128 losers as of 1:52pm.

Notable gainers were Foreland FabriT, Joyas Intl, CPH, InnoPac and SingaporeKitchen, with Foreland FabriT leading the pack.

Notable losers were LH, Infinio, Top Global, ChinaSing Inv and LifeBrandz, with LH leading the pack.

For the fourth quarter ended 31 December 2014, CapitaMall Trust saw a 2.2 percent rise in revenue to $165.2 million due to an increase in revenue from all malls except IMM and JCube. Net property income yield fell 4.2 percentage points from 68.3 percent in 4Q13 to 64.1 percent in 4Q14, due to a 27.6 percent rise in other property operating expenses. Distributable income rose 5 percent to $99.1 million. A distribution per unit of $0.0286 was declared, 5.1 percent higher than the previous year, bringing the full year distribution per unit to $0.1084.

For the fourth quarter ended 31 December 2014, Suntec REIT reported a 7.3 percent rise in revenue to $76.8 million, due to the opening of Suntec Singapore and completion of Phase 2 of the asset enhancement works in Suntec City mall. Net property income yield fell 0.5 percentage points from 69.5 percent in 4Q13 to 69 percent in 4Q14 largely due to a 20.9 percent rise in other property expenses. Distributable income increased by 10.8 percent to $64.6 million, boosted by improved contributions from Suntec Singapore and income received from 177 Pacific Highway in North Sydney, Australia. The trust declared a distribution per unit of $0.02577, a 0.6 percent increase from the previous year, bringing the full-year distributions per unit to $0.094.
