NeraTel: Will It Continue The Uptrend?
Trend Spotting | 26 July 2013
By: Robin Han
Articles (102) Profile

Shares of Nera Telecommunications have been very strong since early July. It went up strongly and made new all-time highs, which is a sign of strength. Actually if we were to look back in June, when the Straits Times Index was dropping severely, NeraTel managed to hold well, which is another sign of strength.

Recently, NeraTel experienced a pull-back with low volume. So far, the uptrend is still intact. One may consider buying on weakness during a pull-back. The stop loss will be the 1 tick below the low on 8 July.

It is the reporting season now. For NeraTel, it usually has a notification period of around 1 week before the release of financial statements. So far, it has not post a notification on the Singapore Exchange website for this coming report. It is not likely to be affected by the uncertainty brought about by the quarterly report and, therefore, is relatively safe to make a short-term trade.
